Welcome to citygo. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the citygo mobile application and website (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1.Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using citygo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our Platform. citygo reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2.Eligibility Requirements

To use citygo, you must: • Be at least 18 years of age • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts • Provide accurate and complete registration information • Maintain only one personal account • Not have been previously banned from the Platform Drivers must additionally: • Hold a valid driver's license for at least 2 years • Own or have legal access to a registered, insured vehicle • Pass our identity verification (KYC) process • Meet all local legal requirements for transporting passengers

3.Account Registration & Security

When creating an account, you must provide accurate information including your legal name, phone number, and email address. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials • All activities that occur under your account • Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized access • Keeping your profile information current and accurate We use phone number verification and optional two-factor authentication to secure your account. You may enable biometric authentication (Face ID/fingerprint) for added security.

4.Platform Use

citygo provides a platform connecting drivers with available seats to passengers seeking rides along similar routes. We facilitate communication, booking, and payment between users but are not a transportation provider. You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purpose of arranging shared rides. Prohibited uses include: • Commercial transportation services • Illegal activities or transporting prohibited items • Circumventing the Platform to avoid fees • Harassment, discrimination, or harmful behavior • Fraudulent bookings or reviews

5.Ride-Sharing Terms

For Passengers: • Search for rides based on your route and travel date • Book available seats through the app • Arrive at the designated pickup point on time • Respect the driver's vehicle and rules • Complete payment through the Platform For Drivers: • Publish rides you are already planning to make • Set fair prices that reflect cost-sharing, not profit • Accept or decline booking requests at your discretion • Provide safe, comfortable transportation • Follow the agreed route and stops Both parties must: • Communicate respectfully through the app • Honor confirmed bookings • Rate each other honestly after the trip

6.Payments & Fees

All payments are processed securely through our Platform using mobile money providers (Orange Money, MTN Mobile Money, Wave) or other approved methods. Passengers: • Pay the full fare plus service fee at booking • Service fee is 19% of the ride fare • Payment is held until trip completion Drivers: • Receive payment automatically after trip completion • Can withdraw earnings to their mobile money account • Platform fee is deducted from earnings All prices are displayed in XAF (Central African CFA Franc). Minimum transaction amount is 100 XAF, maximum is 5,000,000 XAF.

7.Cancellations & Refunds

Passengers may cancel bookings under the following conditions: • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure • Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee • No-shows forfeit the full fare Drivers may cancel rides, but frequent cancellations will affect your rating and may result in account restrictions. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. In case of disputes, contact our support team for resolution.

8.Ratings & Reviews

After each completed ride, both drivers and passengers can rate each other on a 5-star scale and leave optional comments. Ratings must be: • Honest and based on actual experience • Free from discriminatory language • Relevant to the ride experience We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines. Users with consistently low ratings may face account restrictions.

9.User Conduct Standards

All users must: • Treat others with respect and courtesy • Not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, or any protected characteristic • Not engage in harassment, threats, or intimidation • Not use offensive language or behavior • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations • Not transport illegal items or substances • Not smoke in vehicles unless permitted by the driver • Follow pet and luggage policies set by drivers Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban.

10.Safety & Security

Your safety is our priority. We implement: • KYC verification for all drivers • Vehicle documentation checks • Community ratings and reviews • In-app emergency contact feature • GPS tracking during rides • 24/7 support for safety concerns Report any safety concerns immediately through the app. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action. In case of emergency during a ride, use the in-app emergency button or contact local authorities directly.

11.Driver Requirements

To drive on citygo, you must provide and maintain: • Valid driver's license (minimum 2 years) • National ID card (CNI) or passport • Vehicle registration (Carte Grise) • Valid vehicle insurance • Technical inspection certificate • Vehicle photos (exterior and interior) • Selfie for identity verification • Emergency contact information All documents must be current and will be verified by our team. Expired documents will suspend your ability to offer rides until updated. Drivers are responsible for maintaining their vehicle in safe, roadworthy condition.

12.Liability & Insurance

citygo is a platform facilitating connections between users. We are not a transportation company and do not employ drivers. Drivers are responsible for: • Maintaining valid vehicle insurance • Safe operation of their vehicle • Compliance with traffic laws • Any accidents or incidents during rides Passengers acknowledge that: • Rides are provided by independent drivers • citygo does not guarantee ride availability • Travel involves inherent risks citygo's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13.Intellectual Property

The citygo name, logo, and all content on the Platform are owned by or licensed to citygo. You may not: • Copy, modify, or distribute our content • Use our trademarks without permission • Reverse engineer our software • Create derivative works from our Platform User-generated content (reviews, messages) remains your property, but you grant citygo a license to use it for Platform operation and improvement.

14.Account Termination

You may deactivate your account at any time through the app settings. citygo may suspend or terminate accounts for: • Violation of these Terms of Service • Fraudulent or illegal activity • Safety concerns or user complaints • Extended periods of inactivity • At our sole discretion with reasonable cause Upon termination: • Outstanding payments will be processed • Wallet balances will be refunded • Personal data will be handled per our Privacy Policy

15.Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with another user: 1. First, try to resolve it through in-app messaging 2. Contact our support team via the app 3. Provide all relevant details and evidence We will investigate and mediate disputes fairly. Our support team aims to respond within 24 hours for standard issues and immediately for safety concerns. For legal disputes with citygo, you agree to first attempt informal resolution by contacting us. If unresolved after 30 days, disputes will be settled through arbitration in accordance with Cameroonian law.

16.Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. When we make significant changes: • We will notify you via email or in-app notification • The updated terms will be posted on our website • The "Last Updated" date will be revised Your continued use of citygo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you should discontinue use and deactivate your account.
